The Call of Duty Companion includes some of the most popular components from previous Call of Duty mobile experiences, including career stats tracking and comparisons against your friends, heat maps, match analysis, and more.

Download the Call of Duty Companion from the App Store and log in with a linked gamer account or your Activision/Call of Duty account to receive the latest intel on Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and enhance your Call of Duty experience.

After signing in to the Call of Duty Companion you will arrive at the Home tab, which serves as a launchpad for the entire app. Home includes a Message of the Day, your Weekly Briefing, your Friends list, and your Lifetime Stats. You can also use Home to see information about your current Objective, upcoming Events, and other Call of Duty news.

Similar to the Home tab, Feed offers quick access to the latest news and events happening in Call of Duty.

Feed also gives you access to a Friends list that lets you see how some of them have fared in their recent Call of Duty matches. Tap a friend’s name to access your friend’s Combat Record.

The Intel section offers a deeper dive into your Call of Duty experience.

Weekly Briefing

Every Thursday, your Weekly Briefing will offer five features specifically catered to your Call of Duty playing experience. Features can include gameplay tips, map recommendations, heatmaps, and updates on your Squad’s active objective.

Action Report

Get a debrief on your previous week of gameplay every Monday, including your weekly stats and a written recap of your performance. You’ll also get loadout recommendations and see your top Friend’s preferred loadout.

Match Analysis

Match Analysis gives you stats and writeups of your five most recent matches, whether they’re from Multiplayer in Call of Duty: WWII or from Multiplayer, Zombies, or Blackout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Heat Maps

Tap any map in this section to see community-based Heat Maps and learn where the action is hottest.

Ops is your source for tracking weekly Objectives to earn Rewards for you and your Squad.

Objectives are weekly challenges that must be completed by you and your Squad to earn Points toward a package of Rewards.

Every Tuesday, you and the Call of Duty community will be tasked with voting on that week’s Objective. At the end of the 24-hour voting period, all active Squads will have the rest of the week to complete the Objective, which can include amassing a certain number of kills, headshots, match wins, and more. Progress toward Objectives can be made in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: WWII, or Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Squads are made up of a maximum of 20 members who work collectively to achieve the weekly Objective.

You’re automatically added to an existing Squad the first time you launch the app. You can then choose to Create your own Squad or Search for and join an active Squad. You can also choose Join a Squad, which will attempt to place you in an existing Squad with your friends.

Squads are cross-platform.

When your Squad completes the Objective, every member earns points that count toward Rewards packages, which can include in-game loot, Double XP hours, and discounts on merchandise.

Points and Rewards are tied to the Squad and not the individual players; either everyone earns them or no one earns them.

You must also be a member of a Squad during the entire Objective to earn Points and Rewards. If you leave a Squad early, you forfeit the Points and Rewards earned by the Squad that week. Also, when you join a Squad, you will only earn Points and Rewards with that Squad going forward; you are not rewarded Points and Rewards from previously-completed Objectives.
