What to do if you need to submit a warranty claim for an Activision product

Question: I have an item that needs to be replaced. What should I do?

Answer: Most items are eligible for a replacement under Activision’s Warranty policy. Select a category below to learn more about Activision’s replacement process.

Please note: Always use your Case Number when inquiring about your warranty claim.

 

North America

  1. Go to WARRANTY & RETURNS to begin your warranty claim.
    • You will need to be logged in to an Activision account to submit a claim. If you don't have an account, you can create a free one.
  2. Select Software, enter a model number on the disc. Learn where to find the model number on the item.
  3. Continue to the Contact Information screen and fill out all the required fields.
  4. Review the details of your claim and continue to the Confirmation page to complete your claim.
  5. Complete the DISC REPLACEMENT FORM FOR NORTH AMERICA.
  6. Print out the form and follow the instructions on the form to complete your request.

The United Kingdom and Europe

Please contact us directly to request a disc or cartridge replacement.

  1. Go to CONTACT US.
  2. Choose your game and platform.
  3. Select Warranty Replacement, then select I'd like to submit a warranty claim.

Australia and New Zealand

  1. Complete the DISC REPLACEMENT FORM FOR AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND.
  2. Print out the form and follow the instructions on the form to complete your request.

North America

  1. Go to WARRANTY to begin your warranty claim.
    • You will need to be logged in to an Activision account to submit a claim. If you don't have an account, you can create a free one.
  2. Select Hardware, then select your hardware category.
    • For Figures & Toys and Portals, you'll need to enter a model number. Learn where to find a model number.
    • For Traps, use the search field to find your trap. Begin by typing "Skylanders" to see a list of Traps. Select your Trap to continue.
    • For All Other Hardware, use the search field to find your item.
  3. Confirm the item you selected and Continue.
  4. Fill out the required information on the Contact Information screen and Continue.
  5. Review the details of your claim and continue to the Confirmation page to complete your claim.

The United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand

Please contact us directly to request a hardware replacement.

  1. Go to CONTACT US.
  2. Choose your game and platform.
  3. Select Warranty Replacement, then select I'd like to submit a warranty claim.

For select Skylanders toys – usually toys from the most recent Skylanders game – you can request a Warranty Voucher redeemable for the value of the Skylanders toy you wish to replace. Warranty Vouchers are set at values of $10 or $15 and are accepted at major retailers including Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, and Target. If the Skylanders toy is eligible for a Warranty Voucher, the option will be available through the Warranty process.

Please note: Warranty Vouchers are only valid in the United States.

Requesting a Warranty Voucher

  1. Go to WARRANTY to begin your warranty claim.
    • You will need to be logged in to an Activision account to submit a claim. If you don't have an account, you can create a free one.
  2. Select Hardware, then select Figures & Toys.
  3. Enter the model number on your toy and Continue. Learn where to find the model number on the item.
  4. Select Request replacement voucher and Continue.
    • Please note: In some cases, Warranty Voucher replacement may be the only option available.
  5. Fill out the required information on the Contact Information screen and Continue.
  6. Review the details of your claim and continue to the Confirmation page to complete your claim.

Your Warranty Voucher will be mailed to you within three business days.
