This page contains a running list of issues that have been identified or reported in Call of Duty: WWII that are either under investigation or scheduled to be fixed.

I'm not getting my rewards for the Twitch Prime promotion.
– All platforms

Some players are not receiving Supply Drops associated with the Twitch Prime promotion.

Workaround: Be sure to try the following. You might not need to attempt all three:

  1. Load Nazi Zombies and then switch back to Multiplayer.
  2. Shut down and restart Call of Duty: WWII.
  3. Completely power down your console and then restart.

If you're missing Supply Drops from Twitch Prime, choose your platform to contact us.

I'm having problems making purchases.

Some players were either unable to purchase COD Points or Liberty Strike Bundles in game, or purchased them but didn't receive them.

We fixed an issue that was giving some players Error Code 26 on Steam and was preventing them from updating the game or playing online.

I didn't get a Supply Drop for leveling up my Soldier.

We fixed an issue where some players weren't getting Supply Drops earned for ranking up their Soldier.

I got a Supply Drop after a match, but I don't see it as an Available Supply Drop.

We fixed an issue where some players weren't able to access Supply Drops they've earned after matches.

Headquarters keeps freezing on me.
– All platforms

We fixed an issue in Headquarters that was causing the game to freeze. If this continues to happen to you, you’ll need to restart the game.

I keep getting a message saying "Unable to connect to host."
– All platforms

Some players are being presented with multiple pop-up screens stating "Unable to connect to host."

Workaround on PC: If you experience this, hit Enter and Escape to leave the game, then try playing again.

If the messages continue, please choose your platform to contact us.

I got locked from playing in Ranked Play.
– All platforms

We fixed instances where players were getting suspended from Ranked Play while in the lobby or right after a match is completed.

My rank dropped after winning a Ranked Play match.

We fixed an issue that was causing some players' rank to drop after winning a Ranked Play match.

I’m getting a message saying “There is no content” in the in-game store.

We fixed an issue that was preventing content from populating in the in-game store.

I've been getting a lot of lag ever since I hit Master Prestige lvl 1000.

We fixed an issue that was causing lag for players who've hit level 1000.

I keep getting a "Lost connection to host" error message on the V2 map.
– PlayStation 4

Players should no longer experience host connection errors during matches on the V2 map.

I don't hear the Announcer calling out Scorestreaks.
– All platforms

The Announcer in Multiplayer matches should now report when Scorestreaks are acquired and when they are used by teammates or enemies.

I keep getting a DirectX error.

We fixed an issue that was causing some PC players to encounter DirectX errors, generally including DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.

I got an error stating my data is corrupt and that I need to reset my rank and unlocks.

We fixed an issue that was causing some PC players to reset their rank and unlocks in order to continue playing.

I keep getting memory errors.

We fixed several memory errors that were occurring in both Multiplayer and Zombies, including error codes 1 1213, 15 633, and 0 2878.

We resolved an issue that's caused some players to get kicked from Nazi Zombies while in splitscreen.

My Twitch rewards are stuck in the Mail vendor.

We fixed an issue where Twitch rewards appeared to be stuck in your Mail slots. This was a graphical error; the content was delivered.

I can't choose a Division.

We fixed an issue where some players new to Call of Duty: WWII were unable to select their first Division in Multiplayer.

I'm seeing a green star in my Dossier but I don't see any new items.
– All platforms

Players should no longer see a Green Star next to Dossier and Calling Cards even though there are no new Calling Cards to view.

Some of the Orders I want to pick up say Abandon Orders even though I haven't accepted them.

We've resolved an issue where some players were seeing an Abandon Orders prompt for orders they wanted to Accept.

I can't accept an invitation.

Some players are unable to join another player through an invite and receive a message stating "You need to select a Division first."

What should I do?
Be sure that the person inviting you has Party Privacy set to Open. To change Party Privacy, go to the PARTY filter in the Social tab, then open the Party Options menu on the right and set Party Privacy to Open.

We've found that some players who receive this message played their first Multiplayer as the second player in splitscreen. Join a non-splitscreen Multiplayer match where you are the primary player and you should be able to select a Division.

I'm getting a black screen when a match starts even though I still hear audio.

We've fixed an issue that presented a black screen to players while loading into a multiplayer match.

I'm getting stuck in Spectator Mode when I load into a match.

We’ve resolved issues that were causing some players to get stuck as a Spectator when loading into a new match.

I'm getting a "Disc read error common_mp" error message.
– PC

If you receive a "Disc read error common_mp" error message, you will need to verify the integrity of your game files through Steam.

  1. Restart your computer and launch Steam.
  2. From the Library section, right-click on Call of Duty: WWII and select Properties.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files… button.
  4. Steam will verify the game's files. This process may take several minutes.

I opened a Supply Drop and nothing happened.

We've fixed an issue where nothing appeared when opening a Supply Drop even though you received your Supply Drop items.

We've fixed an issue where players weren't receiving rewards for leveling up their Social Rank.

I got an error that says "Explosive bullets are not supported for entities of type 'Invisible entity'."

We've fixed an issue that was kicking players from matches and lobbies.

We've fixed a graphical error that where content items collected from the Mail vendor appeared to be stuck in your Mail slots.

We've fixed the issue that was resetting classes after players equipped a weapon variant.

I'm getting Error Code 5 and I'm unable to play.

We're resolved recent issues causing players to receive Error Code 5.

I opened a Supply Drop and got an "Unable to get inventory" error.
– All platforms

You should no longer experience errors when opening Supply Drops. However, your inventory may not immediately point to new items being added and some items could take some time to appear in inventory.

I'm experiencing long load times when going to Headquarters.
– All platforms

We've released enhancements that should reduce the time it takes to load into Headquarters.

PC players have the option of loading the game without entering Headquarters. To do this, follow the steps in the Call of Duty: WWII PC Troubleshooting Guide.

I've lost ranks and stats.
– All platforms

We've fixed an issue that was causing some of you to lose ranks or stats.

If you still feel you've lost ranks or stats, please choose your platform to contact us.

I'm getting stuck at the end of matches.
– All platforms

You should no longer experience freezes at the end of matches. If a post-match freeze does occur, you'll need to completely restart the game.

Issues surrounding Orders and Contracts have been resolved.

We've resolved an issue that was causing disconnections during matches or immediately after matches.

I redeemed a code but haven't received the content in game.
– Xbox One

Xbox One players who did not receive digital pre-order bonus content after redeeming a code can now pick up these items from the Mail vendor in Headquarters.
