If you receive error code 4096 on a PlayStation console, it means that your console has encountered a general connection failure. To fix this, please try rebooting your PlayStation console and your network router.

If you are still having problems, you can also try these steps:
  1. Completely exit the game.
  2. Turn off your PlayStation console.
