The following FAQ addresses frequently asked questions regarding technical elements in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. While there are no strategy hints or tips in the following article, it is possible that certain story or gameplay elements may be spoiled by these questions.
This usually happens when you plug in and attempt to synch up your voice-over device while the game is running. It is recommended that you have your device plugged in before you launch the game. If this does happens while in game, restarting your console will usually fix them problem.
The “The End?” Achievement/Trophy is earned by completing the game on both Easy and Normal mode. Completing the game on Hard mode unlocks a different Achievement/Trophy.
For the purposes of acquiring certain Emblems and Achievements/Trophies, in game sessions where there are AI-controlled Turtles, they are considered players and would need to perform the required action to get the Emblem or Achievement/Trophy to unlock. Your best bet for acquiring these Emblems and Achievements/Trophies is to play in a four-player multiplayer game.
Nothing. Achievements/Trophies of this type are only awarded when the entire level is completed. For example, disarming 30 time bombs and then quitting out of the level will not award the “Bomb Squad” Achievement/Trophy.
You’re experiencing a very rare issue in which the Bomb Shuriken fails to properly register hits. This issue can be resolved if you stop aiming, move your Turtle a bit, then fire another shuriken.
This is a very rare issue in which the game fails to register the player’s progress through the level and misses the trigger to begin the Shredder fight. To resolve this issue, go back to the elevator, switch Turtles, and return to Shredder.
This can occur on PCs that have switchable graphic cards and the game automatically chooses the wrong card. Switching to your preferred graphic card can be done in your video card manufacturer’s management app.
