Question: Looks like I have an Unlock Token to start the game. What can I unlock with Unlock Tokens, and how do I get more?
Answer: In Multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, players play as one of nine Specialists, unique characters with their own weapons, abilities, personalities, histories, and style. When first logging in to play Multiplayer mode, players will be given an Unlock Token to pick their first Specialist. Specialists are selected by choosing one of the Specialist's special power weapon or ability.
At the outset, four Specialists will be available, and the remaining Specialists will become available as players rank up in the game.
As players gain levels from playing Multiplayer matches, more Unlock Tokens are earned and more unlockable items are made available, including Weapons, Gear, Perks, and Streaks. This system works just like it did in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Items are gated by level, which means players can’t unlock every item immediately. But as players progress the options increase, allowing players to choose which items are most important to a personal loadout.
Please note: Unlock Tokens are non-refundable, and Specialist and item unlocks cannot be reversed. If you accidentally unlock a Specialist or item that you didn't mean to unlock, you will need to gain more levels to earn more Unlock Tokens.
