Information about the sunset of the Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies app

We want to thank you for being loyal and valued fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies and let you know that as of May 14, 2022, the online mode within Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies will no longer be available to play. On that date, we will discontinue online play, and servers will be shut down. Local mobile versions of the game will continue to operate. 

As of December 13, 2021, Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies is no longer available for download by new users on any device. However, if you purchased the game and have it installed on your device, you can continue to play the online mode on your installed device until May 14, 2022. 

Please note: If you update your device software, the game may no longer be supported.  

Additionally, as of December 13, 2021, all in-game purchases have been turned off. You can continue to use your online currency and items on hand until the sunset date of May 14, 2022.

1. What is happening to Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies?

On May 14, 2022, the online mode within Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies will no longer be available to play. On that date, the online servers will be shut down. Local mobile versions of the game will continue to operate.

2. When is Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies going away?

On May 14, 2022, the online mode within Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies will no longer be available to play.

3. I have some unspent Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies currency. Can I still use it?

You can continue to use your Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies currency and items on hand through May 14, 2022. You will no longer be able to use Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies currency or items as of the sunset date of May 14, 2022.

4. Why can't I find Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies in the App Store?

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies is no longer available for download. Players who purchased the game and have previously downloaded it can re-download the game from their Cloud services, as long as they do not update either device software.
