Finding the Model Numbers on Activision Hardware and Software
Where to find model numbers in order to submit a warranty claim
Question: I need to submit a warranty claim and I'm being asked to provide a model number. Where do I find the model number on my Activision product?
Answer: The location of the model number depends on which product you are trying to return. Check the list below to find out where to look.
Game Discs
A game disc model number is printed on the top of the disc and is typically located at the end of the copyright information. Game disc model numbers are 8 digits long followed by a two-letter country code (e.g. 12345678US).
Nintendo Games
The model number on a Nintendo DS and 3DS cartridge and Switch game card is printed on the sticker on top of the cartridge or game card. Model numbers are eight digits long followed by a two-letter country code (e.g. 12345678US).
Skylanders Items
A Skylander's model number is located on the bottom of the base of your Skylanders product. For Skylanders Superchargers vehicles, turn the vehicle upside down to find the item's model number.
Toy, vehicle, and magic item model numbers are eight digits long. The model number for the Portal of Power may be either seven or eight digits long depending on which console you are using.
Skylanders SWAP Force figures only have one model number, which can be found on the base of the bottom half of the figure.

Guitar Hero Live Guitars
The model number on a Guitar Hero Live guitar controller is printed on the sticker on the back side of the controller, and is located after the FCC ID and IC numbers. Guitar Hero Live guitar controller model numbers are seven digits long.
