Where to redeem and how to get help with codes for Early Access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta

Important! When redeeming a code on the Call of Duty redemption page, make sure the region you select matches the region on your platform account where you will play the game. Selecting a region that does not match your platform account location may result in receiving a code you cannot redeem on your platform.

All physical edition preorders of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 include a code to register for Early Access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta 1. In most cases, the Beta code will be printed on the retail receipt or sent to you via email on an online receipt. Please contact your retailer if you didn't receive your Beta code or can't locate it.

Players may also obtain codes for Early Access through various promotions prior to the Beta.

If you digitally preordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, you don't need a code. Registration for Early Access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta is included with all digital preorders or prepurchases through platform stores or the Call of Duty in-game store.

1. How do I redeem my code for Early Access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta?

Head over to callofduty.com/betaredeem and follow the instructions on the page to secure your spot for Early Access to the Open Beta.

You'll need to be logged in to your Activision account to enter your Early Access code. If you don't have an Activision account, you can create a free one.

Once your Early Access code is successfully redeemed, you’ll receive a success message confirming your registration for Early Access.

Before the Beta begins, players who registered with a code will receive an Early Access Beta token via email. This token can only be redeemed on the platform you selected when you redeemed your Early Access code.

To ensure you receive updates on the Open Beta, double-check your email address and make sure it is up to date in our system. Log in to your Activision account to check or make changes to your registered email address.

Please note: Early Access codes are only required for physical edition preorders or when preordering a code for a digital version of the game through a retailer. If you preordered a digital edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on a platform store or through the Call of Duty in-game store, you don’t need a code to gain Early Access to the Open Beta.

2. Where can I check my Beta status?

Head over to callofduty.com/betaredeem and log in to your Activision account. If you’ve successfully redeemed a code for Early Access, you will see a message at the top of the page stating, “You have already redeemed a code” along with the platform you selected during registration.

3. I got an error message when I tried to redeem my Beta code. What should I do?

Follow the guidelines based on the message you received when redeeming your Early Access code.

 

You already used the code entered.

This message will appear if you try to enter a Beta code a second time. If you see this message, the account you are logged in with is already registered for Early Access.

 

The code you entered has already been redeemed. Please be sure you have entered the correct code.

This message indicates that the Beta code you entered has already been redeemed and cannot be used again.

If you haven't already redeemed a Beta code and think you're receiving this message in error, please reach out to us for help.

 

Please make sure you’re entering your 10- or 13-character code as it’s displayed on your receipt or insert or in the email in which the code was provided. 

Code characters can sometimes look similar or may appear smudged or distorted on your receipt. Be sure you’re entering the code exactly as it’s displayed on your receipt. Please contact your retailer for help if you're unsure about your code's characters.

Please also make sure you are entering a code to register for Early Access to the Beta. In some cases, your code may need to be redeemed through your platform.

4. What should I do if I lose, can’t find, or can’t read my Beta code?

If you've lost, can't find, or can't read your Beta code that you received for preordering, please contact your retailer to recover your code.
