Challenges are specific tasks a player must complete in multiplayer mode (including Escalation) for an experience point reward. Challenges run the gamut from Basic Challenges, such as simple survival over time or killing a certain number of enemies, to class-specific challenges that require a player to play as a specific multiplayer class. Each Challenge has three stages that increase their difficulty as well as the experience points rewarded for completing them.

Activating Prime Mode resets all of your multiplayer levels back to level one and gives you a special icon that will now be displayed beside your name. Prime Mode also unlocks special head pieces in the Transformers multiplayer character customization mode.
