Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Gameplay FAQ

This article will answer many of the common questions regarding gameplay elements in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

The following FAQ addresses frequently asked questions regarding gameplay issues with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Please note that while the below article contains no strategy tips or gameplay guides, there may be minor spoilers for the game.

This is a very rare issue that occurs when the game “misses” the proper progression break. If it happens, you will have re-do the game’s final battle to get the Achievement/Trophy to pop.

This Achievement/Trophy will only unlock if you complete the task without dying or reloading the game from a checkpoint.

No. If your character gets stuck in a pipe in robot form you will need to restart the level from the last checkpoint in order to progress.

This is a bug that can happen if you continue the game from the Main Menu at the checkpoint to rescue Snarl. To resolve this, you will need to reload the game from the previous checkpoint and replay the game past this point to the next checkpoint.

This can happen on Autobot levels when Bumblebee dashes through closing doors or on Decepticon levels when Soundwave sends Rumble through a closing door. In both cases, this will cause a progression break and the game will fail to load the next segment of the level, causing the character to fall out of the level. If this happens, you will need to quit out of the game and reload from the last checkpoint.

No. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron uses an autosave system that automatically saves your progress when you reach certain checkpoints throughout the game.
