Ice Age: Continental Drift: Arctic Games uses an autosave function. Your game will be automatically saved as you play, but only while you are playing Story mode. Tournament mode games are not saved, but the top-three high scores from Tournament mode will be saved.

Ice Age: Continental Drift FAQ
There are three game modes available in Ice Age: Continental Drift: Arctic Games.
- Story mode is made up of 10 mini-games, each with unique goals and challenges. The player's team battles the computer to try to collect the most pieces of fruit. The team with the most fruit pieces is the winner.
- Tournament mode is the same as Story mode, only in this mode the player's team competes against another player's team.
- Free play mode allows the player the events from Story mode in any order, allowing the player to either set new high scores or to unlock all three medals (Bronze, Silver and Gold).
This means you probably changed the language setting after completing at least one event. To fix this, go to the Option menu in the game's Main menu to select your language. You can also reboot the game to reset your language settings.
Just wait a few seconds and the character will come back on the track. If not, quit and restart the event.
You can replay each event in Free Play mode and try to beat your best score, or unlock medals (Bronze, Silver or Gold) that you haven't achieved yet. You can also play Tournament mode and play head-to-head with your friends.
The game doesn't save your progression in Tournament mode. Only the Story mode is saved. But, if you achieve a new high score in Tournament mode, the score will be saved.
There isn’t a trick to achieving the Gold medal in the Style Jump event. The event is meant to be difficult, and therefore, earning the Gold medal is difficult.
Getting the Gold medal requires the player to do a nearly perfect run. This means the player cannot miss any button prompts, and go as fast as possible in order to get the bonus acorns.
