Ops is your source for tracking weekly Objectives to earn Rewards for you and your Squad.
Objectives
Objectives are weekly challenges that must be completed by you and your Squad to earn progress toward a package of Rewards.
Each week, you and the Call of Duty community will be tasked with voting on that week's Objective. At the end of the 24-hour voting period, all active Squads will have the rest of the week to complete the Objective, which can include amassing a certain number of kills, headshots, match wins, and more. Progress toward Objectives can be made in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Squads
Squads are made up of a maximum of 20 members who work collectively to achieve the weekly Objective.
You're automatically added to an existing Squad the first time you launch the app. You can then choose to Create your own Squad or Search for and join an active Squad. You can also choose Join a Squad, which will attempt to place you in an existing Squad with your friends.
Squads are cross-platform.
Rewards
When your Squad completes the Objective, every member earns points that count toward Rewards packages, which can include in-game loot, 2XP, and discounts on Call of Duty merchandise.
Points and Rewards are tied to the Squad and not the individual players; either everyone earns them or no one earns them.
You must also be a member of a Squad during the entire Objective to earn Points and Rewards. If you leave a Squad early, you forfeit the Points and Rewards earned by the Squad that week. Also, when you join a Squad, you will only earn Points and Rewards with that Squad going forward; you are not rewarded Points and Rewards from previously-completed Objectives.
