Custom Parts allow you to tweak the look of your Skylanders racers with hundreds of cool enhancements including temporary Boosts that improve various aspects of your vehicles. If you are having issues with Custom Parts in Skylanders SuperChargers, follow the guidelines below based on what you're experiencing.
Purchasing Issues
Please allow up to 15 minutes for Custom Part purchases to appear in game. If your purchased content is still not showing up after waiting 15 minutes, you may need to restart your console.
If the issue persists and you do not receive your purchased content, please contact PlayStation Support, Xbox Support, or Nintendo Support for assistance.
Remember to check in the Customization Station to be sure that the item is truly missing. The Customization Station can be found in the Skylanders Academy area on the left-hand side next to the BOOM 5000 robot.
In addition, remember that if you get a duplicate part, the value of the part in Gearbits will be automatically refunded to you.
No. The option to purchase Custom Parts using real money is disabled while the player is in online multiplayer. Leave any co-op games or racing lobbies you may be in to restore the real money purchase options.
No. This can occur if you try to purchase a Custom Part without a vehicle on the Portal of Power. Leave the BOOM 5000 interface and place a vehicle on the Portal to resolve this issue.
If your game crashes while attempting to purchase a Custom Part, restart your system and restart the game. You should have no loss of items or money if this happens.
General Issues
This can occur if you modify a vehicle and then switch Skylanders before entering the vehicle. Reloading the level resolves the issue.
This is a very rare issue. It is, however, only visual and will not affect the actual gameplay.
Xbox One
This is a very rare issue. If it does happen, restarting your console and then restarting the game should resolve the issue and return the real money options to the game.
