General Skylanders Game Questions

If this happens, try taking your Skylanders toy off the Portal of Power and then replacing it. If your Skylander remains stuck, you will have to restart the level.

No. A Skylander’s Elemental Strength depends on how many Skylanders of the same element are stored in the Skylanders Collection menu. A friend’s version of the game might have a different number of elemental Skylanders stored, resulting in a different Elemental Strength. When you bring your Skylander back to your version of the game, their Elemental Strength will return to what it was.

If you can’t access a character’s specific content, it means that you haven’t taken ownership of the Skylander. Go to the Skylander Management screens within the game and use the “ownership” controls to take official ownership of the toy.

Skylanders does not continually save your position as you progress through the game. The game only saves at the following points:

  • When starting or completing a level
  • When completing a challenge
  • When collecting an important item

Please note: In order to save your game, you will need to be signed in to a profile.

The game uses your console country setting to determine the language used. Make sure you have set your console to your home country in order to have the game play in your language.

If this happens, try taking your Skylanders toy off the Portal of Power and then replacing it. If your Skylander remains stuck or the gate does not open, you will have to restart the level.

Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure Questions

Ignitor’s Flame Force attack can occasionally cause the character to get stuck on the level. If this happens, restart the level using the Chapter Select menu. Avoid using the Ignitor’s Flame Force attack in the Crawling Catacombs, or use a different Skylander.

Due to Double Trouble’s size, this can sometimes happen on this level. You’ll need to change Skylanders in order to get past this section of the level.

This achievement/trophy will only be earned when you have purchased all of a character’s upgrades, including the power unlocked by the Soul Gem. In addition, you must be the registered owner of the Skylander before you purchase your first upgrade and not change ownership until you have purchased all of the character’s upgrades.

To take ownership of a Skylander, go to the Skylanders Management section in the Main Menu.

You won’t be able to break barrels in this Heroic Challenge until you unlock Double Trouble’s Summon Magic Bomb attack.

Unfortunately, your saved game file is corrupted. If this happens, you will need to delete the saved game file and start the game over again.

The barrier sequence will occasionally fail to trigger if the enemies on the level are defeated too quickly. If this happens, you’ll need to restart the level through the Chapter Select menu.
