Players who jumped into battle in Call of Duty: Black Ops III now get immediate access to the Hailstorm – Thunder, an Epic variant of the Hailstorm handgun in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
This potent, 3-round burst pistol is not a DLC bonus weapon. The Hailstorm – Thunder is free to everyone who played Call of Duty: Black Ops III online. Just log in to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare with the same console account you used to play Call of Duty: Black Ops III to unlock the weapon.
In Multiplayer, the Hailstorm – Thunder can be found in the Handguns under Secondary Weapons in Create A Class and the Armory.
In Zombies, the Hailstorm – Thunder is available under Handguns in Weapon Kits section of Loadout.
No. Just load Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the gun will be automatically unlocked in Create A Class, the Armory, and Weapon Kits.
To get the Hailstorm – Thunder, you must have played Call of Duty: Black Ops III on the same account you are using to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
If you meet the eligibility requirements and the Hailstorm – Thunder is still locked, be sure to reboot your console and then start Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to ensure the latest version of the game is installed.
Yes. Players have until 12/31/2016 at 11:59 PM PST to play Call of Duty: Black Ops III online and then log in to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to gain eligibility for the Hailstorm – Thunder.
Also, since the Hailstorm – Thunder is an Epic weapon variant, it can be crafted with Salvage in the Prototype Lab. Before you can craft it, however, you’ll first need to reach Player Level 48 to unlock the base weapon. From there, you’ll need to craft the Common (200 Salvage), Rare (500), and Legendary (2000) variants before you can craft the Hailstorm - Thunder (4000).
The Hailstorm – Thunder also has a chance of dropping in Common Supply Drops and Rare Supply Drops.
