The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Tours

A reimagining of the original Career Mode from the original games

In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, the classic Career Mode has been revamped in the form of Tours. Tours allow you to skate all the Parks from the first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games to complete Goals or earn Medals while racking up Stat Points and picking up Collectibles.

Please note: Fully completing each Tour unlocks secret Parks and other rewards.

There are two types of Parks:

  • Goal-Based Parks where you must complete Goals
  • Competition Parks where you must earn Medals

Goals and Medals unlock new Parks in each Tour. While Parks must be unlocked in the order listed above, you can switch between Tours whenever you want, allowing you to take breaks or grab some Stat Points from another Tour.

Goals and Medals

Much like the Parks themselves, the Goals are the same as they were in the first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games, with a few new Goals sprinkled on top. These include achieving Scores, collecting S-K-A-T-E letters, interacting with objects, discovering gaps, and more. Similarly, Competition Parks feel like the originals, where you can earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals. The game displays the Goal and Medal unlock requirements for each Park when you highlight that Park.

Stat Points and other Collectibles

Each Park features Stat Point Collectibles. Once collected, you can use these Stat Points to increase the stats of your current Skater. To increase that Skater’s Stats:

  1. Navigate along the Top Bar to Skater.
  2. Select the Stats tab.
  3. Navigate to the Stat you want to change.
  4. Move right to spend a Stat Point to improve that category.

You can re-spec your Stats at any time.

Please note: Each Skater in the game must collect their own Stat Points. Points collected with one Skater will not be available when customizing the Stats of a different Skater.

Each Park also features new hidden Collectibles, so make sure you’re cruising through every inch of the levels to grab them all.

Free Skate and Single Session

Free Skate and Single Session modes return from the original games, and all Parks are available at the start of the game in these modes. While Free Skate mode allows you to skate the Parks without any time pressure, they do not contain Goals, Medals, or Collectibles. Single Session mode allows you to post your high Scores to each Park’s Leaderboard to compare with friends and players around the world.

Speed Runs

Speed Runs are a new game mode inspired by the THPS community. In this mode, a Park’s Goals reset, and you must complete 100% of those Goals in the quickest time possible. This mode also allows you to post your best times to each Park’s Leaderboard to compete with friends and other players. Each Park’s Speed Run is unlocked by completing 100% of that Park’s Goals in Tours.
