Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1
Everything you need to know about Season 1 in Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone
Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4
Shipment (Pre-Launch, October 27)
Remaster, 6v6, Small-Sized
Shipment is back! In this remastered version, the iconic map is set on a Russian harbor, hemmed in between the water and the concrete panel buildings making up the urban landscape around it. The map itself is true to form with a classic layout and appearance that players will be right at home with, enhanced by Modern Warfare 4’s visual and gameplay improvements.
Backstab (Launch)
Brand-New, 6v6, Medium-Sized
Trek through the fallen snow of this war-torn town, where abandoned tanks litter the landscape and drone ordinance line the shelves of a deserted dwelling. Fight in the streets where long-ranged sightlines reign or head inside the open buildings for a closer battle.
On the ground, use the buildings and outer walls to control your sightlines. For a greater view, look to the map’s several vantage points, including the roof of the Stronghold House and the upper levels of the Sniper House, Grandpa’s House, and the Destroyed Building. Throughout the area, blasted walls create interesting flank routes. Use everything on hand to secure the win and then get out of this frostbitten battleground.
Canyon (Launch)
Brand-New, 6v6, Medium-Sized
Turn up the heat in the sun-scorched terrain of Canyon as towering rock walls trap in the chaos below. Try your luck along the River near the site of the Convoy Ambush or take the Cliff Path for its rugged vistas and winding pathways. Featuring wide open spaces interspersed with massive natural boundaries, you’ll have to time your movements to avoid getting caught without cover.
Head into the northern Cave to cool off in the shade, leading to an Abandoned Shack where hidden Operators can ambush passing enemies. Look for opportunities throughout to climb up to a higher vantage point, including small shelves and platforms as well as the central Mesa giving views toward both ends of the map.
Shoot House (Launch)
Reimagined, 6v6, Medium-Sized
Redeploy to Shoot House using the new combat and movement systems of Modern Warfare 4. While veterans of the map will instantly recognize the layout, the setting is reimagined against the rugged terrain of North Korea during a light snowfall.
Shoot House consists of three primary lanes: Fight across the southern Junkyard, through the tunnels leading toward the Center, or over and around the northern Containers. Operators seeking a dominant view will need to fight for control of the overhead Hospital and Apartment. Whichever path you take, there are plenty of interconnected routes between them, giving the savvy Operator a wide array of tactics throughout.
Featured Kill Block Combo: Crash
It’s helicopter down as a new featured Kill Block combo arrives for Season 1. When deploying to this map, all three slabs remain static, and do not change between rounds. This set of three slabs were hand-picked by Infinity Ward based on the most popular combinations from the Modern Warfare 4 Beta. This also means this Crash combo is added to a variety of other playlists throughout the Core Multiplayer Modes, including Search and Destroy.
Possession (Pre-Season: October 29)
New Mode
For the Halloween season, Possession is a fast, visceral party mode moshpit. Eliminate enemy players to possess them, transmigrating to their location and stealing their Loadout. Eliminate enemies to fly across the map to get on the Hardpoint, or to clear a Search and Destroy bombsite. But beware, you’ll always possess an eliminated enemy, so check your targets before committing to the kill.
Infected (Pre-Season: October 30)
Returning Mode
It’s Survivors vs. the Infected in this team-based party mode where one player is randomly assigned to the Infected team at the start of the match. Every time the Infected player eliminates a Survivor, that player joins the swarm of the Infected. If you’re Infected, eliminate as many as you can to bolster your ranks. If you’re a Survivor, hold out as long as you can against the hordes of Infected.
The Infected are all about speed and stealth, equipped with the FSS Carbon Edge Combat Knife, a Throwing Knife, and the Ninja Perk to assist in their shambling sneak attacks. Survivors carry heavier armaments like the Rezi 12 Shotgun with hot-loaded explosive slugs via the Enforcer Apex Attachment plus Trip Wire and a Concussion Grenade.
Infect everyone or survive the game to win.
Grind (Launch)
Returning Mode
Eliminate players, recover their dog tags, and take them to the Bank to score in Grind. There are two Bank on the map, and both teams can deposit their carried dog tags in either one. Operators can carry multiple dog tags and will drop all carried tags upon being eliminated. Swoop them up and drop them at the Bank to score big.
Drop Zone (Launch)
Returning Mode
The rich get richer in Drop Zone, where teams fight to hold a single rotating objective. Periodic airdrops deliver Killstreak packages over the Drop Zone. Open them up for random Killstreaks you can use to defend your position or to break the enemy line the next time they have control of the Drop Zone.
Gauntlet 1v1 (Launch, LTM)
Variant Mode
Feeling confident? Throw down in the ultimate confrontation as 1v1 Gunfight arrives, accessible via the Wager Match Event. Wager your trophies and eliminate the enemy to secure the win. The winning player stays to face another opponent. Win multiple matches to claim the waged reward. More Modes Coming at Mid-Season.
Infiltrate X01: We've confirmed North Korean forces have set up shop in a former Russian facility on the edge of Hajin's borders. Designation: X01. Search the vast cargo bays and vehicle depots, descend to underground labs, production lines, and infiltrate the sealed Deep Vault. X01’s maze of tunnels and shifting hazards calls for careful planning, specialized equipment, and squad coordination.
New Orders and Threats: Ghost guides Operators through new DMZ Orders as they push deeper into X01. All further intel on the threats within this facility has been expunged from intercepted data.
New Gear, Extraction, and Events: Expect new and powerful equipment, all deemed [CLASSIFIED]. As the facility starts to close off extraction points, complete the required steps to escape, or die trying! Also available to all DMZ Operators are Events throughout Season 1, including special Commander Hunts, and other activities with rewards well worth deploying for.
New Location: Designation X01
New DMZ Orders incoming. Announcement for all Tier One Operators within the Hajin Exclusion Zone:
A previously undiscovered weapons facility — codenamed X01 — has recently been seized by enemy forces. Recent reconnaissance along the northern border of North Korea has determined an infiltration point, allowing for deployment through Hajin. Current data suggests this facility was a GRANIT Arms black site. It appears comprised of a dimly lit, labyrinthian network of passageways, tunnels, and linking chambers surrounding a clandestine weapons assembly line and other, more surprising locations. Appearing to be fully enclosed from the outside world, ground-penetrating radar has revealed multi-floored vertical traversals, where the only reliable edge you may have is the back-up of your squadmates.
Expect heavy resistance, as intel brought back by Ghost indicates troops and specialists from the 100 Spirits NK Faction may be active in the vicinity, and it may be unwise to engage them in head-to-head combat. Stronger, more brutal entities also patrol the interior, forcing Operators to study the available combat options before engaging.
Gear up appropriately before infil. The rogue Operator squads moving through this facility are the least of your worries. Push deeper, uncover what’s been buried here, and make your exfil. If you can.
New DMZ Orders
The Watcher for operations inside X01 is Ghost, who serves as your squad’s voice on the ground, guiding Operators through X01 as you push deeper into the facility. His updates track the route, flag emerging threats, and hint at what remains as each new area is accessed. Expect multiple pages of new DMZ Orders now that infiltrations into X01 have been sanctioned.
Additional DMZ Intel
The X01 facility holds more than we can disclose in this briefing; expect plenty to uncover on deployment, with key details deliberately withheld.
- New Enemies: [CLASSIFIED].
- New Items: [CLASSIFIED].
- New Equipment: X01 holds equipment unavailable elsewhere, with the potential to secure rare finds on every deployment. The facility’s deeper sections may yield unfamiliar tools, valuable intel, and gear built for the threats within. What you bring out is yours to discover.
- Escaping X01: The Facility will take extreme measures to remove intruders its forces have not been able to extricate. Make sure you always know where the nearest exfil is.
Additional FOB Enhancements and Stations
Your Forward Operating Base continues to receive improvements, both cosmetically and functionally. Here’s some of what to look for:
- Battle Pass and Store Station: Access the Season 1 Battle Pass and BlackCell content, as well as Store Bundles, via a Station adjacent to the Survival Kit Station.
- 3D Printer: [CLASSIFIED].
- Vendor: Access additional weapons and gear that you can purchase with DMZ Cash, if you’ve acquired Season 1 BlackCell.
- Boss Board: Lieutenants: Seek additional intel on Tae-Hyun (“Knuckle”) and Chol-Min (“The Wrench”), both dangerous adversaries to encounter within your forthcoming deployments.
- Boss Board: Commanders: Seek out toughened Commanders, including The Captain (a Juggernaut and his elite guard) and an autonomous patrolling Wheelson.
Season 1 DMZ Events
Collaborate with squad mates and take on the biggest foes across Hajin and X01 or scavenge and sell the biggest haul of valuables to acquire high-tier loot across multiple Events. Here’s what to expect in the first part of Season 1:
Threat Briefing
Intel is everything. Learn how to identify and take down DMZ’s biggest Boss threats, then exfil with unique loot to progress and earn valuable rewards like rare gear and Survival Kits. All Squad members receive credit if one of them exfils with a scavenged part from a Commander.
Threat Briefing: Battle Tank: Enter Hajin, engage a NK main battle tank in combat, removing tank parts, one per deployment. The greater the number of parts you gather over deployments, the more impressive the reward.
Threat Briefing: The Captain: Enter X01, locate and engage The Captain in combat, gathering sections of the juggernaut’s helmet, in exchange for greater rewards once you successfully exfil.
Resupply Run
Race to resupply. Track down specific items across different POIs and trade them in for high-value items like Self Revives and 3-Plate Carriers to secure your haul before anyone else.
Additional Events: Look for additional events across all game modes, and specifically some additional DMZ Threat Briefings, as Season 1 progresses.

Please note: Starting with Season 1, Call of Duty: Warzone will no longer be playable on PlayStation 4 and XBOX One as the game — and Modern Warfare 4 — moves on from older generation hardware. Your progression will carry over to a supported platform if you log in using the same linked Activision account.
Carry Forward, Legacy Weapons and Content
Operators, Operator Skins, and Weapon Blueprints, as well as Calling Cards, Emblems, Operator Finishing Moves, Emotes, Sprays, Parachutes, and Contrails from Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6, and Black Ops 7 will be available in Call of Duty: Warzone starting in Season 1. With the new Operator Skin Toggle, you will have more control over the Operators Skins you see in Call of Duty: Warzone only. Learn more about the new Operator Skin Toggle feature.
Modern Warfare 4 weapons provide the full weapon experience, while all weapons from Modern Warfare II through Black Ops 7 will continue to be accessible in the Legacy tab of the Loadout menu.
Legacy Weapons are still usable, but cannot be edited in Gunsmith and do not support the following Modern Warfare 4 features:
- Mastery Camos
- Reticle Challenges
- Weapon Customization
- Cosmetic Gunsmithing
- Build Sharing & Build Codes
Legacy Weapons won’t be left as base Weapons without Attachments. Instead, a five-attachment version of each Legacy base Weapon will be available, as well as any Blueprint for a Legacy Weapon with their existing Attachment setups. These Legacy Blueprints will all initially be locked and available to unlock through Player XP in the Armory.
For the first time, Call of Duty: Warzone will feature action along the Korean Peninsula as players deploy to Hajin, a new largescale map that connects Battle Royale to the Modern Warfare 4 narrative.
For a detailed look at the region, check out the DMZ Tour of Hajin, offering a guided walkthrough of the region’s major Points of Interest, from the coastline to downtown and the wilderness beyond. While DMZ players will feel right at home in Hajin, there are some notable differences between the DMZ version of the map and the Battle Royale version. This includes how the encroaching Edge Circle and Gas moves throughout a match, a lack of radioactive cloud at the Hanuel Nuclear Reactor, the available Vehicles, and the distribution of interactable objects, as well as loot caches across the map.
Battle By the Border
In Hajin, Operators will battle in both North and South Korea across 13 major POIs. Navigate crowded city streets, abandoned buildings, open farmland, winding rivers, and forested hills, creating different combat opportunities depending on where you land.
Hajin City’s central districts feature towering buildings, barricaded roads, and heavily fortified locations, rewarding squads that coordinate their movements and secure advantageous positions. Rural areas such as Imjin Farmland offer more exposed terrain, where long-range engagements and careful use of available cover are essential for survival.
Over the border, the setting shifts as Operators approach North Korean locations such as the 14thPolitical Prison, Chang-san Air Base, and Deadtown.
Weather Scenarios
Expect to run into variable weather patterns in your deployments to Hajin, adding a layer of unpredictability to each match. From clear skies to fog, wind, rain, and distant storms, localized weather patterns change the look and feel of the environment. With this in mind, the development teams have put in a lot of effort to ensure that no matter what weather you encounter, visibility remains a central factor in gameplay.
Hajin Gulag
A new Battle Royale map means a new Gulag. When you first get eliminated in Battle Royale, you’ll have the chance to earn your redeployment back into the match... so long as you can defeat the enemy in a 1v1 matchup.
Eliminated Operators will be sent to one of two versions of the Hajin Gulag. Enter as a spectator including ground level views for the first time, and when it’s your turn to fight for your life, deploy to the central arena.
The two variants feature a different set of cover objects within a small, rectangular space in a symmetrical layout. In one, partial walls line the perimeter over open ground while the other includes sturdier features with a number of small sheds over a flagstone walkway. Both versions are exposed to the elements and will be affected by local weather patterns, adding variety to your visits here.
You can mantle on a good deal of the obstacles, encouraging aggressive movement throughout the area. Win the duel to deploy back into the match. Lose and you’re out.
Experience Resurgence on the all-new Zodiac, a compact combat zone built around the DRC Advanced Systems drone assembly and manufacturing headquarters in South Korea. Zodiac combines sprawling factory interiors, research facilities, elevated rooftops, underground tunnels, and coastal terrain to create a diverse combat environment.
The map’s ten distinct Points of Interest each offer different opportunities for combat and squad rotations. Key locations include Admin, the central administrative tower; Trackline, where trains travel across a double railway that cuts across the facility; and Furnace, an industrial area built around heavy manufacturing equipment. Other locations, including Solar, Old Mines, Dispatch, Depot, Sentinel, Cooling, and R&D, provide additional options for looting, ambushes, and establishing defensive positions.
Underground Routes, Environmental Hazards
Experience Resurgence on Zodiac, an all-new battleground set within the DRC Advanced Systems drone manufacturing headquarters in South Korea. More than just an industrial complex, Zodiac is an environment shaped by conflict, where damaged facilities, sprawling factories, research labs, and underground passages create a battleground filled with stories to uncover and opportunities for combat.
Across ten distinct Points of Interest, every location brings a different way to fight. Battle through Admin's towering offices, navigate the heavy machinery of Furnace, or explore the research facilities of R&D. Other locations, including Solar, Old Mines, Dispatch, Depot, Sentinel, and Cooling, offer opportunities for looting, flanking, and outmaneuvering enemy squads. From tight interiors to elevated rooftops, the map's interconnected environments keep players adapting their strategies.
Underground Routes, Moving Trains, and Environmental Hazards
At the heart of Zodiac, Trackline's double railway system and moving trains add an unpredictable layer to the action. Underground tunnels let squads slip beneath the battlefield and emerge from unexpected angles, while interactive elements like moving solar panels, furnace conveyor belts, and explosive fuel barrels create new ways to turn the environment to your advantage.
Developed by Beenox in close collaboration with Infinity Ward, Zodiac builds on the team's experience creating iconic Call of Duty: Warzone locations such as Rebirth Island and Vondel. Combining layered level design, dynamic environments, and a distinct South Korean setting, Zodiac delivers a fresh Resurgence experience where every match offers new opportunities to move, engage, and outsmart opponents.
Verdansk returns later in Season 1, its familiar skyline now punctuated by the Signal Station, the Grazna-7 Launch Complex, Overlook skyscraper, and the high-tech Drone Labs. From frozen forests and industrial sprawl to dense city blocks, Verdansk brings newer landmarks and new reasons to revisit this classic Call of Duty: Warzone map.
Rebirth Island also returns in Season 1, bringing its close quarters fights back across the prison, control center, and surrounding industrial compounds. With repurposed infrastructure and familiar routes, navigable waterways, and hidden passages, offer there’s always a place to drop rival Operators across this compact and classic Resurgence map.
New Field Upgrade: Zipline Launcher
Overcome large obstacles and flank from rooftop to rooftop with ease using the Zipline Launcher. Aim and fire the device to create anchors and a zipline that can be used to scale high points and zipline across the terrain. Once deployed, the Zipline Launcher will remain active on the map until it’s either retrieved or destroyed.
The entire squad can use it, including enemy Operators, so be aware of its placement and whether you’ve got enemies on your tail. If you notice a zipline being created by another squad near your position, check the line for incoming enemies. While traversing the zipline, players can use their Pistol, so be prepared.
New Field Upgrade: Grabber Drone
Deploy a rare drone equipped with a grabber capable of picking up everything from loot to environmental objects and even other Operators. Pick up a downed teammate and bring them in closer for the revive, retrieve difficult to reach weapons and other useful items, and even retrieve Buy Station loot. With a limited battery life, you’ve got to choose your actions carefully, but when it comes to grasping the unreachable, this is the tool to carry.
New Interactive Objects
New interactive objects increase the level of player agency across the environment, including Fuel Barrels that can be moved around by players and carried by the Grabber Drone. Set them up where they’ll cause the most damage and detonate them when the enemy gets near.
Other interactive objects include a variety of items such as Dumpsters, Concrete Cylinders, and more that can be pushed and pulled, from cover items to platforms and even pyramids that can be placed on the road to stop vehicles from passing through critical pathways. Work with your squad to make the most out of these interactive objects, setting up new cover positions, roadblocks, explosive traps, and more. You’ll find most of these new objects scattered across Hajin, Zodiac, and Verdansk.
Grind for Royalty
Push your boundaries with the new Grind for Royalty system, where your personal player stats are taken into account to generate individual challenges. Royalty challenges reset every season, giving you the chance to try and outdo your prior performances with each new season. Strive for new personal records and get rewarded with two new Weapon Camos (one static, one animated) each season. In Season 1, players can earn the “Gold Excellence” and “Gold Mosaic” Weapon Camos.
Weapon Augments
After multiple Drones fly across the map, and drop portable Buy Stations, you can hunt for these “Fly Buy” Buy Stations to access Weapon Augments, a new way to upgrade your weapon with significant bonuses for that match. These will be available in limited quantities, so don’t overlook a chance to grab one. Season 1 introduces three Weapon Augments, as follows:
- CQC Augment: Faster ADS speed and sprint to fire speed, reduced hipfire recoil, faster ADS movement speed.
- Marksman Augment: Improved bullet velocity and damage range, reduced horizontal recoil, reduced aiming idle sway.
- Handling Augment: Faster reload speed, faster rechamber, faster slide to fire speed, reduced first shot recoil, reduced weapon bob, reduced flinch.
Ground Ops
While moving through the map, look for discoverable Ground Ops that offer the chance to gain valuable loot and other advantages, including high value safes that can be drilled to secure the items inside, surveillance towers that provide critical intel on the enemy position and legendary loot chests, drones that can be shot down for the cargo they carry, and loot-filled radioactive barrels that are located with the assistance of a Geiger counter.
Weapon Trade Station (Resurgence Only)
Upgrade your currently equipped weapon with more powerful version by visiting the useful Weapon Trade Station in your Resurgence matches. Interact with the Weapon Trade Station to exchange your weapon with one of an improved rarity, offering additional Weapon Attachments.
Drop Kit (Resurgence Only)
Boost your next redeployment by securing a Drop Kit, which will provide your Operator with added bonuses the next time you redeploy into the match. There are four types of Drop Kits:
- Insured: Redeploy faster with all your cash.
- Loadout: Redeploy with your current Loadout.
- Armored: Redeploy with full armor, bonus Perks, and a Self-Revive.
- Radar: Redeploy with an active Radar Ping and supply sweep.

General Content
Primary Weapon: Cronen Osprey (Launch)
Assault Rifle, Battle Pass Tier 16, Tier 87 Battle Pass Blueprint
- Levels: 70
- Rounds: 30
- Reserve: 90
- Fire Rate: 882 RPM
- Available Criteria: Unlocked via Battle Pass
- Attachment Types: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Ammunition, Magazine
Precision-engineered for relentless performance, this 5.56 rifle delivers a best-in-class fire rate without sacrificing control, accuracy, or mobility.
Rivaled only by the M4 in terms of its rate of fire, the Cronen Osprey combines speed with moderate power for an Assault Rifle that’s quick and reliable on the frontlines. In sustained fire, the weapon kicks up and to the right, though this can be countered somewhat with steady aiming and burst fire.
Apex Attachment: Cronen Helix Mk. II
A unique double-barrel receiver transforms this 5.56 rifle into a dual-fire weapon platform. Firing on both trigger pull and release, it delivers punishing damage with an unmatched rate of fire among semi-automatic weapons.
Primary Weapon: CSG-35 (Launch)
SMG, Battle Pass Tier 36, Tier 73 Battle Pass Blueprint
- Levels: 42
- Rounds: 28
- Reserve: 112
- Fire Rate: 1200 RPM
- Available Criteria: Unlocked via Battle Pass
- Attachment Types: Optic, Muzzle, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Ammunition, Magazine
Featuring the highest fire rate in its class pumping out rounds at a blazing 1200 RPM, the CSG-35 excels at putting down targets fast at close ranges. Though its damage per round is only modest, the rapid accumulation of follow up shots will quickly overwhelm enemies within 20 meters. Past that distance, the weapon’s climbing recoil becomes a bit harder to control, making it difficult to stay on target. For the best results, close the distance and unleash.
Apex Attachment: CSG Crossfire
Dual-wield akimbo CSG-35 SMGs and trade accuracy for a wave of downrange chaos
Primary Weapon: JAK 12 (In-Season)
Shotgun, Event Reward
- Levels: [CLASSIFIED]
- Rounds: 8
- Reserve: 16
- Fire Rate: 323 RPM
- Available Criteria: Unlocked via Event
- Attachment Types: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Magazine
Devastate close-ranged targets with this full-auto Shotgun that showers foes with a cluster of pellets. Its accuracy falls off quickly, and it kicks hard after each shot, so closing the distance is required. The JAK 12 excels as a breaching tool; if you anticipate enemies on the other side of that closed door, barge through and tear them to shreds.
Apex Attachment: JAK Barrage
Launch a salvo of adhesive explosives that stick to surfaces and targets before detonating with devastating results.
Melee Weapon: ZLR Talonhawk (In-Season)
Melee, Event Reward
- Levels: 10
- Mastery Badges: Yes
- Available Criteria: Unlocked via Event
- Attachment Types: None
Attack foes with a variety of hacks and slashes using this deadly Combat Axe, its heft capable of inflicting heavy damage to the unlucky recipients of its blade.
Hyeon Auto Apex Attachment (In-Season)
Hyeon Burst Assault Rifle, Wager Match Event Reward
Converted to fully automatic fire, the Hyeon Auto was built for laying down stable, rapid fire. Offering a substantial increase in continuous RPM over the burst fire/semi-automatic variant, this weapon relies on firepower over precision.
Kastov 545 Apex Attachment (In-Season)
Kastov 762 Assault Rifle, Wager Match Event Reward
The Kastov 545 fires 5.45x39mm rounds, offering smooth handling and rapid follow-up shots without sacrificing combat effectiveness.
M16 Burst Attachment (In-Season)
M4 Assault Rifle, Event Reward
Give the M4 the M16 treatment. Equip the M16 Burst Attachment to trade full-auto fire for controlled bursts.
Additional Attachments (In-Season)
Adjust your weapon arsenal still further with more Attachments to unlock, including the TT Iron Guard Kit for the .50 GS Pistol, and the ChainSAW Grip set for the FiNN LMG.
XERO (BlackCell, Launch)
BlackCell Instant Reward
There is no record of XERO before BlackCell. Not an erased record. Not a sealed record. Nothing. The earliest known reference to him appears inside a classified BlackCell development program involving behavioral conditioning, synthetic identities, experimental combat training, and neurological augmentation.
Whether those skills were taught, implanted, or recovered from a life XERO no longer remembers remains classified. His designation originates from X-0, an internal prototype number found repeatedly throughout damaged BlackCell archives. Later documentation replaces X-0 entirely with a single name: XERO.
Field personnel describe him as unnervingly controlled. He demonstrates familiarity with locations he has supposedly never visited and occasionally recognizes people who insist they have never met him. Certain sounds, symbols, and encrypted transmissions have triggered brief episodes of memory that do not correspond with anything in his official history.
BlackCell refuses to explain them. Some within the organization believe XERO was a volunteer whose identity was deliberately erased. Others believe he was assembled from the remnants of multiple failed subjects. A more disturbing theory persists among those with access to the original program: BlackCell did not erase XERO's past. They created one where none existed.
Today, XERO operates as one of BlackCell's most closely controlled assets, deployed when an operation requires complete deniability. No country can claim him. No agency can identify him. And if BlackCell's files are accurate, XERO may not know enough about himself to ever leave them.
Blix (Battle Pass, Launch)
Battle Pass Instant Reward
A former elite operator within South Korea’s Special Warfare Command, Blix’s trajectory shifted permanently after a covert border mission led to his capture and extended imprisonment. Enduring extreme hardship, he survived the ordeal only to be funneled through a network of foreign captives and deployed into high-intensity proxy conflicts.
On the battlefield, his perspective on combat transformed into a rigid, absolute philosophy. Blix began tattooing fragments of survival codes and tactical doctrine across his skin, turning his body into a living archive of warfare. His mechanical efficiency and complete indifference to physical trauma caught the attention of the masked mercenary leader Nikto, who pulled him from the ranks to serve as a premier operative. Now deploying into the Exclusion Zone, Blix executes his objectives with silent, disciplined precision, viewing the theater of war not as a duty, but as an absolute doctrine.
