A Skylander SuperCharger is a special Skylander that's trained to get the most out of the new SuperCharger vehicles. Each Skylander SuperCharger is paired with a specific vehicle that they can use special powers with.

Yes, all previous Skylanders will work in Skylanders SuperChargers, and all Skylanders will be able to drive any vehicle. There will be certain powers, however, that can only be unleashed by a SuperCharger driving their specially paired vehicle.

No, there will be on-foot levels and a number of non-vehicle mini games you've come to expect in a Skylanders game, as well as new forms of gameplay only made possible through the introduction of vehicles.

Yes! The new SuperChargers Portal of Power has a place for Traps in it and Traps, when placed in the Portal, will provide special abilities and powers to your Skylanders.

The new SuperChargers Starter Pack will contain:

Yes. Gameplay will be slightly different on the Wii and Nintendo 3DS systems. The Starter Packs for the Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and 3DS systems will also contain two exclusive figures - Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser - that can also be used as Amiibos in select Nintendo games.

Yes! Fans of the franchise can choose to purchase the digital Portal Owner’s Pack and use a Portal they already own to play Skylanders SuperChargers. Players can also purchase the digital Portal Owners Pack via connected consoles or select iPads. They can download the full AAA game and complete the mainline game with Instant Spitfire SuperCharger and Instant Hot Streak vehicle.

You can also use one of the older model Portals from Skylanders Trap Team to enjoy the full game experience with physical toys from the new Skylanders SuperChargers as well as their existing collections.

Skylanders SuperChargers supports two-player co-op. Two SuperChargers and one vehicle will be able to fit on the Portal of Power. In vehicle sections, one person will be able to control the vehicle, while the other player handles attacks. In on-foot sections, each player will control their respective Skylander (like in the previous games). Players will be able to swap back and forth between who is driving and who is attacking.

Yes. Skylanders SuperChargers vehicles are designed to be used on the Portal of Power without a base, so you'll be able to roll your cars across the floor and pretend to fly through the air and dive deep under the sea both in and out of the game. Many of the vehicles also have moveable parts!

Yes. As players move throughout the game, they will discover cool modifications that they can add to their vehicles. Also, when SuperChargers are matched to their signature vehicle, they unlock SuperCharged combinations which include exclusive powerful modifications, changing the way the vehicle and character look, perform and attack. There are many special mods in the game that will enhance the gameplay experience.

Yes. Similar to the previous four titles, SuperCharger characters and vehicles, new expansion packs, and themed character packs will continue to be released post-launch, delivering new player experiences throughout the year. This includes a number of new Eon's Elite characters, Slam Bam, Zook and Voodood A second wave of Eon's Elite characters, Ghost Roaster, Boomer and Dino-Rang, will also be coming. Yes, the new Light and Dark elements introduced in Skylanders Trap Team will be included in Skylanders SuperChargers, taking the total number of elements in the game to 10.

Yes, the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition includes unique toys and will be available for a suggested retail price of $99.99. It includes Dark editions of Spitfire, Hot Streak, a two-sided ultimate collector poster and the Kaos Trophy, which is the only way to unlock special Kaos gameplay content. Dark Super Shot Stealth Elf and Dark Sea Shadow will be available exclusively in the Dark Edition Starter Packs for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
