No. In order to successfully block an incoming attack, you must keep the tip of your enemy’s weapon in view.
There are three possible methods for removing a character that has gotten stuck on the landscape.
- Try to move the character backward then wiggle the character from side to side by moving forward, left, and right in quick succession.
- Perform a few kick attacks while facing the way out by using the left bumper and right stick on the Xbox One or L1 and R3 on PlayStation 4.
- Access the Pause Menu and select Respawn or Leave Game.
There are a few reasons that you might not be able to complete your training objective:
- An NPC’s movement is being blocked, preventing it from triggering the next objective.
- You’ve left the playable area and are unable to re-enter it.
This is a rare issue that occurs when opponents are blocking your respawn location. This has a greater chance of happening when you die multiple times in a row without moving.
If this does happen, open the Pause Menu and select Leave Game. This will bring you back to the Main Menu where the training can be restarted from the beginning.
The jump ability is disabled during training. Once in Single Player or Multiplayer mode, pressing the A button (Xbox) or X button (PlayStation) will perform the jump action.
