Yes! Players who pre-order any edition of Crash Team Rumble get access to the Crash Team Rumble Closed Beta, beginning April 20, 2023.

Players will also receive the ‘Retro Treads’ Tawna skin, available at launch.

Digital Editions

You are automatically registered to participate in the Closed Beta when you pre-order the game. No code redemption is required.

Physical Editions

You will receive a 13-character code printed on your receipt. Head over to crashbandicoot.com/beta and follow the instructions on the page to redeem your code and register for the Closed Beta.

You'll need to be logged in to your Activision account to enter your Closed Beta code. If you don't have an Activision account, you can create a free one.

Once your Closed Beta code is successfully redeemed, you’ll receive a success message confirming your registration.

Before the Closed Beta begins, you will receive a second access code sent to the email address attached to the Activision account you used to register for the Closed Beta. Redeem this access code on the platform you selected when you redeemed your Closed Beta code.

Please note: Your Closed Beta code also unlocks the ‘Retro Treads’ Tawna skin pre-order incentive, available at launch.

You can pre-order digital editions of Crash Team Rumble through the Xbox Store or the PlayStation Store. You can also access pre-orders through crashbandicoot.com/crashteamrumble.

Physical editions of Crash Team Rumble are also available at select retailers.

If you registered for the Closed Beta at crashbandicoot.com/beta, you'll be emailed an access code before the Closed Beta officially begins. The email will be sent to the address attached to the Activision account you used to register for the Closed Beta.

Once you receive your access code, redeem it through your platform's store.

Xbox Series X and Xbox One

1. From the Home screen, select and open the Store app.
2. Press the View button on the controller to open the side menu.
3. From that menu, select Redeem.
4. Enter the 25-character code ignoring hyphens, and then follow the prompts.

PlayStation 5

1. Go to Settings and select Users and Accounts.
   
2. Under Account, select Payment and Subscriptions, then select Redeem Codes.
3. Enter the code and select Redeem.

PlayStation 4

1. Go to PlayStation Store.
   
2. Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and select Redeem Codes.
3. Enter the code and select Redeem.

Crash Team Rumble will feature a variety of maps and modes that represent mashups of several game genres, including platformers, action games, sports, and fighting. Players will enter an arena as a character from the Crash universe, each with an individual power, moveset, and other abilities. Players will play matches in one of three hero roles:

• Scorers primary objective is to collect Wumpa fruit across the map and deliver them to their team’s Wumpa Bank.
  
• Blockers play defense and are tasked with stopping opponents from scoring.
• Boosters capture gems across the map to boost their team’s score. They also activate Relic Stations, which give teammates special powers to gain an advantage.

All players can also activate additional powers by performing well in their role.

Yes! Cross-platform gameplay will be available for players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

An internet connection will be required to download the game. Players will also need an internet connection to play online Multiplayer and other features (gaming subscription sold separately). Players will also need a valid Activision account.
