Using COD Points in Call of Duty: Vanguard

How to obtain and spend COD Points in Call of Duty: Vanguard

COD Points are the in-game currency used in Call of Duty: Vanguard to obtain new content, including the Battle Pass. To get COD Points, visit the Store menu in the game, then select Franchise Store. You can also purchase COD Points from your platform's store.

While you can only spend COD Points on the platform you purchased them on, most of the items you purchase with COD Points are shared across all platforms you have linked to your Activision account.

You can only spend COD Points on the platform you purchased them on, but items you purchase with COD Points are shared across all linked platforms.

COD Points earned through Battle Pass progression can only be spent on the platform on which the Battle Pass Tiers were unlocked. However, you can use COD Points earned from the Battle Pass in Call of Duty: Vanguard or in Call of Duty: Warzone.

1. What can I purchase with COD Points?

COD Points are the primary way to acquire the Battle Pass, the seasonal tiered reward system. You can also use COD Points in the in-game Store to buy Bundles that can include Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Emblems, Charms, and other digital in-game content.

2. Can I use COD Points to purchase individual items?

No. Items can only be purchased as part of Bundles.

3. Can I see the item I'm purchasing before I buy it?

Yes. With each Bundle, you can preview any item by hovering over it and hitting the designated Preview command found at the bottom of your screen.

4. How many COD Points can be purchased?

There is no limit to the number of COD Points you can purchase.

5. If I upgrade within a console family (Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S, or PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5), will my COD Points balance carry over?

Yes. As long as you're logged in to the same Activision account, once you launch Call of Duty: Vanguard on a new console within the same console family, your COD Points will be available to use.

6. If I upgrade within a console family (Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S, or PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5), will my purchased content carry over?

Game progress and purchased or earned content in Call of Duty games with crossplay and cross-progression are stored on your Activision account. If you choose to upgrade to a new platform or switch to a new console family, your game progress and purchased or earned content will carry over as long as you play on the same linked Activision account where you earned the original progress and content.

7. I purchased a COD Points bundle, but I haven't received my COD Points in the game. What should I do?

In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours for purchases to appear in the game. If your COD Points are still not showing up after 24 hours, you may need to restart your console.

8. I used COD Points to make an in-game purchase, but I didn't receive my content. What should I do?

In some cases, you may need to restart your console for your purchased content to appear in the game. If restarting your console doesn't resolve your issue, please reach out to Activision Support for help.
