Crossplay and Cross-Progression in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Play and earn progress across all linked accounts and alongside your friends on all platforms

Crossplay continues with the launch of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6, allowing players on all platforms to play together.

Along with this unified playing experience, crossplay enables cross-progression, which means your progression in Black Ops 6 will carry over across all platforms linked to the same Activision account, regardless of console generation.

On top of that, gameplay in Black Ops 6’s Multiplayer and Zombies – as well as in Call of Duty®: Warzone™ starting in Season 01 – will count toward your overall player progression and Battle Pass progression.

How does crossplay work?

To make crossplay possible, the game requires players to log in to an Activision account. If you don't have an Activision, you can create a free one here or in the game when you connect online for the first time.

Your Activision account comes with a unique Activision ID, which is how you'll appear in game and how you and your friends can identify each other.

Crossplay options

Is there an option to manage crossplay?

Yes, console players can adjust crossplay settings for both Unranked and Ranked gameplay.

Microsoft Store and Xbox PC app can adjust global crossplay settings from within the Xbox PC app’s settings.

Crossplay cannot be disabled when playing on Steam or Battle.net.

Important! Players on Xbox consoles can adjust crossplay options through in-game settings or through the console settings. Please note that in-game settings will take priority over console settings. Learn more about cross-network settings on Xbox.
