I'm experiencing performance issues.

You're experiencing stuttering and hitching while playing the game.

Solution: Accept the option to preload shaders before playing the game.

Please note: If you update your NVIDIA or AMD drivers, you'll need to preload shaders again.


Disc read errors after Variety Map Pack installation

– PlayStation 4

Some players were receiving disc read errors when attempting to launch Multiplayer after installing the Variety Map Pack.

If you are still experiencing disc read errors with the Variety Map Pack, please contact Activision Support for assistance.

Players losing Campaign progress
– Steam
Steam players have corrupted saves in Campaign, losing progress.

If you've experienced an issue with your Campaign save becoming corrupted, open MISSION SELECT from the Campaign menu and choose and begin the last mission you were playing. This will restart you at the beginning of the mission, but your progress up to that point will be restored.
Loud fan noises
– PlayStation 4
Players were reporting a loud fan noise coming from their PS4s after idling on the lobbies for a few minutes, suggesting the console may be overheating. Resolved via server update.
The game seems to be stuttering or rubber banding
– Windows 10 Store
Issue that affects screen loads, causing level transitions to stutter, hitch, or rubber band and audio to become delayed or unsynced. Stuttering has also been identified in online Multiplayer matches with the maximum allowed players. Resolved
General performance issues
– Windows 10 Store
Performance issues in the 40-50 fps range and some stuttering. Resolved
Long load times
– Windows 10 Store, Steam
Long load times that can result in players getting dropped from matches. Resolved
Headphone audio lost
– Windows 10 Store

Plugging in headphones while in Campaign or Multiplayer disables the audio.

Infinite loading screen in Custom Match
– Steam
The host of a custom match will experience an indefinite loading screen when the match ends if they lose WAN connection during gameplay. Resolved
Performance issues in Campaign
– Steam
Players might experience performance issues in 5 Campaign missions (Bog, Blackout, Shock and Awe, War Pig, and Safehouse) on PCs with AMD GPUs that meet minimum system requirements. Resolved
Frame rate issues
– Steam
The "Optimal Video" settings result in frame rate issues despite hardware meeting minimum system requirements. Resolved
SLI and Crossfire optimization
– Steam
The game is currently not optimizing power distribution with SLI or Crossfire. Resolved
