War erupts on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea launches a full-scale invasion that threatens to destabilize the world in Call of Duty^®: Modern Warfare^® 4. A young squad of South Korean soldiers fight to survive on the collapsing front lines, while half a world away a vengeful Captain Price wages a personal war from the shadows as he stays one step ahead of those hunting him. Modern Warfare 4 pushes the series into darker and more dangerous territory, where consequence and escalation bring long-running storylines to a powerful and emotional breaking point. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches worldwide on October 23, 2026. Preorders are available now on XBOX Series X|S and XBOX on PC (XBOX Play Anywhere ¹) and PlayStation 5. PC players can prepurchase on Battle.net and Steam. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is also launching on Nintendo Switch 2, with preorders coming later this year. Vault Edition

The digital-only Vault Edition is packed with a selection of premium Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 rewards, offering the most content in any edition of the game. The Vault Edition is available on all platforms or as an upgrade option for players who have purchased a Digital Standard Edition.

The Hostile Alliance Operator Pack includes skins for four Multiplayer Operators:

Physical Editions on consoles ⁶

Physical Editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 are available for preorder on XBOX Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles through select retailers. The Physical Edition includes the full base game on your preferred platform. Preorders also include Open Beta Early Access ².

Vault Edition Upgrades

Digital Standard Edition owners can upgrade to the Vault Edition through the Call of Duty in-game store or your platform’s store. The Vault Edition upgrade will be available as a separate purchase for $30 (Suggested Retail Price) or your regional equivalent.
