Unable to Download King's Quest: Chapter 2 on Xbox 360

We are aware of an issue with the Xbox 360 version of King's Quest: Chapter 2 - Rubble without a Cause that prevents players from downloading the Chapter 2 content. This article will provide a workaround that will get you up and playing until the issue can be resolved.

Question: I'm getting a “Status code: 800700E8” or other error message when attempting to download the Chapter 2 DLC for King’s Quest on Xbox 360. Why is this happening and how can I get the Chapter 2 content?

Answer: If you receive this error, follow the steps below to work around this issue.

Workaround:

  1. Navigate to the My Games section of the dashboard on your Xbox 360 console.
  2. Highlight the “King’s Quest” game and press the X-button to view the Game Details page.
  3. Navigate to the tab labeled Extras and select See All to view all available downloads
  4. Highlight the “King’s Quest – Chapter 2: Rubble Without a Cause” content and press the A-button.
  5. Highlight the Download tile and press the A-button.
  6. Proceed through the standard Xbox Live purchase process (you will not be charged).
  7. Once the download has completed you will be able to access the content from in-game.
