Reimagined for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, these original features allow you to advance and customize your current Skater and Player Profile by earning Experience Points (XP) and Cash. XP advances your Level, while Cash allows you to obtain Items from the Skate Shop. Everything you do in the game, regardless of mode, can earn XP and Cash.
Skate Shop and Leveling Up
From the Hub, navigate along the Top Bar to the Skate Shop to check out all the available Items, including Apparel, Boards, Tattoos, Logos (for clothing), and props for use in Create a Park. To get an Item, highlight it and select Accept.
Not everything is available at once, however. You'll unlock new Items for the Store as you Level Up with XP.
Challenges
Challenges are essentially in-game versions of Trophies or Achievements. Unlike Goals, they aren't limited to a single Park. Challenges categories include Skater, Combo, Skate Park, Multiplayer, and Create a Park. Challenges are not only designed to help you learn how to play better, they encourage you to play in new ways and help push you (and your Scores) to new heights. All Challenges award XP and Cash, though some also directly award special gear for your Custom Skater.
From the Hub, navigate along the Top Bar to Challenges to see a list of Featured Challenges, a browser for all Challenges, and several Challenge Collections. Any Challenges that are ready to claim appear in the Featured List, making it easy for you to get their rewards. Navigate to a completed Challenge and select Claim to earn your rewards. Don't forget to check back often.
Also, be sure to check out the Rookie, Veteran, and Legend Challenge Collections. Completing all of these is a true test of skill and dedication.
Customizing your Skater
After unlocking new Items, navigate along the Top Bar to Skater. From there, you can easily change the Look of a Skater as well as their Tricks and Stats. While the options for customizing Pro Skaters are limited, you can customize a ton of things for your Custom Skater.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will also feature the United Pack as part of its customization options for players. This seven-item pack can be purchased on the Store of your preferred gaming platform, and it will include a special set of apparel, skateboard decks, and accessories to outfit your Custom Skater. Each item was designed with the unique United tie-dye pattern created by It's a Living or a unique Camo pattern to make your skater stand out. As part of Activision's program to support the Call of Duty Endowment, 100% of Activision's net proceeds from the purchase of the United Pack will go to helping place veterans into jobs.
Your Player Profile
From the Hub, navigate along the Top Bar to Profile. From there, you can customize your Player Badge and view the Hall of Fame Leaderboards, your Player Stats, and your Create a Park Stats.
