Character Falls Through Map in the Amazing Spider-Man
What to do if you fall through a hole in the level or the map
If your character falls through a hole in the map or the level, you can attempt to Web-Rush your way back. An easier solution is to restart the checkpoint. Select Restart Checkpoint from the Pause menu. Restarting the checkpoint will spawn your character close to where you fell through.
