Troubleshooting FAQ for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Multiplayer and Online options

Please note that the following FAQ provides troubleshooting solutions for multiplayer and online gameplay.

This may occur because of a lower internet connection speed or sometimes the servers may have a larger than expected amount of users. If you find that you are unable to enter a session or experience longer than normal loading times, exit the game and try again.

There are several reasons why you may receive error messages while trying to join a game online:

  • Servers may be under maintenance
  • The servers may be experiencing a high volume of players
  • There may be a problem with your internet connection
Make sure to test your connection before starting the game. If you continue to receive errors messages, you may also need to restart your console or try again at a later date.

Try the following to clear up this issue:

  • Make sure you are in a party together with your friends. An invite will be sent automatically once Session, Mode, or Co-Op is selected.
  • If you are trying to invite people in Freeskate, go to Session Menu, select Player List, and select Invite to play with your friends.
  • Make sure that the Mission selected is available for Co-Op play. You will not be able to invite friends on Missions that are single player only.

This can occur when playing a Mission, Mode, or Freeskate session with a large amount of players online. This issue will resolve itself when the next game session loads.
