How to access Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Question: I'm getting a message saying I need the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game disc to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. What's going on?
Answer: Retail versions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy and Legacy Pro Editions, which include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, contain one game disc. On PlayStation 4, these editions also include an insert with a code to unlock and play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. On Xbox One and PC, a code is not required to unlock Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
Even though there is not a separate game disc, in order to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, you must have Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare installed and use the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game disc. If you uninstall Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, you will not be able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
After launching Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, you will be able to choose either game from the opening menu.
Please note: The unlock code for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered on PlayStation 4 can only be used once. Players who purchase pre-owned copies of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will not be able to access Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered if the unlock code is missing or has already been used.
