Reporting players
If you suspect that a player is cheating, or you feel a player is using language or a name you find offensive, you can report the player within the game.
Reporting during a match
- Open the Scoreboard (View on Xbox, Touchpad on PlayStation, TAB on PC).
- Highlight the player.
- Select View Profile.
- Select Report Player.
Reporting in the Lobby
- Highlight the player in the Player list.
- Press Select.
- Select Report Player.
Reporting through the Social Menu
- Open the Social menu.
- Highlight the player from a list on the Party & Friends or Recent tab.
- Press Select.
- Select Report Player.
Report Player form
Selecting Report Player will open the in-game Report Player form. Review the descriptions on the right to find the most appropriate reason for your report. Note you may choose more than one reason.
Select Send Report to submit. You also have the option to choose Report & Block Player. Learn more about blocking players in Call of Duty.
We take these issues very seriously, and we appreciate your bringing cheaters and offensive players to our attention. Your report will be reviewed as soon as possible, and we will take appropriate actions if necessary, for example by issuing a warning, suspension, or ban. We may notify a player that they were reported and for what reason, but we will not reveal who reported them. Due to confidentiality, we cannot provide updates or actions taken on any specific account as a result of your report.
