Resolved Issues

 

Epic Harpy Operator Skin

We fixed an issue where an Epic skin for a Harpy Operator wasn't unlocking after completing the challenge requirements.

 

False Prospector camo

We've resolved an issue where some players were unable to equip the False Prospector Gold Camo from the Fortune's Keep event.

 

Operation Monarch/Monsterverse rewards

Players who purchased two Operation Monarch Bundles have been granted the "Super Species" Player Title. Players who purchased all three Bundles have been granted the “Apex Phase Rifle” Blueprint.

 

Prestige emblems

Prestige emblems displayed in game should now match players' current rank.

 

Operator Challenge tracking

Progression tracking for several Operator Challenges has been fixed.

Issues with Prestige rank displaying consistently throughout the game have been fixed.

 

Dev Error 5573

Game crashes leading to Dev Error 5573 have been resolved.

 

Polina Battleprepped Operator Skin

Polina's Battleprepped Operator Skin should no longer appear locked for players who purchased the Season One Battle Pass.

 

Rune MP-40 Blueprint and Historia Sten Blueprint

Players with the Rune MP-40 Blueprint or Historia Sten Blueprint equipped in a loadout should now see it in Multiplayer and Zombies matches.

 

Reticle unlocks

Reticles should now unlock as normal through progression.

 

Dark Aether

An issue with Dark Aether not unlocking has been resolved.

 

My COD Points disappeared.

A visual issue affecting how COD Points balances were displaying in game has been fixed. If you're still experiencing this issue, please try restarting the game.

 

Game freezes on PlayStation 5

An issue causing the game to freeze before reaching the main menu on PlayStation 5 has been resolved.

Known Issues

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

My Operator XP isn't tracking.

– All platforms

Some players have reported that Operator XP is not tracking past Rank 1.

My Weapon Camo progress isn't tracking.

– All platforms

Weapon Camo progression tracking on some weapons is under investigation. 

I'm getting a Vivacious error.

– PlayStation and PC

The Vivacious error can occur when installing or updating the game.

If you receive this error while installing the game, you will need to quit and restart the installation.

Game updates

Follow these steps if you received a Vivacious error while updating the game on a PlayStation.

1. Reboot your PlayStation.

2. Highlight Call of Duty: Vanguard on the homescreen.

3. Press the Options button.

4. Select Check for updates.

My game is crashing.

– PC

PC players report crashes at launch or while playing the game, receiving error codes including 0x00001337, 0xc0000005, and 0x00001338.

Make sure your video card drivers are up to date, and your PC meets the minimum requirements to play Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Workaround: Shut down any applications running in the background while playing the game.

You can provide critical information to help identify, investigate, and resolve game crashes on PC by submitting a Call of Duty: Vanguard PC Crash Report.
