This page contains a running list of issues that have been identified or reported in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and are either under investigation or scheduled to be fixed, as well as issues that have been resolved or are considered closed.

I can't join a party.

Some players are receiving ELVIRA or HERMENTARIA error messages when attempting to join a friend or a party.

I picked up the Proteus/Volk Retro variant but nothing's there.

Some players have reported they've picked up the Proteus/Volk Retro variant, but they aren't able to use the gun or see it in their hands.

I'm getting an OPPAVIA error.

This error can occur when the same PSN account is logged in to more than one PlayStation.

Workaround: Be sure the PSN account you're using is only logged in to one PlayStation when playing the game.

I keep getting "Update requires restart" messages but can't update.
– PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Players are reporting getting stuck in an update loop when attempting to connect to servers.

Workaround: Try the following troubleshooting steps.

  1. If you have Modern Warfare Remastered installed: Launch Modern Warfare Remastered and connect online. After connecting, quit Modern Warfare Remastered and switch back to Infinite Warfare.
  2. If you don't have Modern Warfare Remastered installed, or Step 1 didn't work: Clear the cache on your console.
  3. If Steps 1 and 2 don't work: Uninstall and reinstall Infinite Warfare and all DLC.

I'm getting a disc read error after installing DLC.

Some players are receiving CE-32725-9, CE-24224-5, cp_disco, and general disc read error messages when attempting to play Multiplayer or Zombies after installing a DLC pack.

Weapon loss can occur if a player performs a melee attack before the timer expires on the Super Minute Man Fortune Card.

Players who purchased a Digital Deluxe Edition, or a Legacy Edition or Legacy Pro Edition from GameStop, are not receiving Bullethawk or Hellstorm pre-order bonus content.

If a player backs out of a match without removing party members, those players will not be able to receive invites.

Some players attempting to download Sabotage from the in-game store are receiving a message stating "This product cannot be purchased at this time." (Error code WC-40360-3)

Some players are receiving disc read error, cp_rave, or imagefile202.pak error messages when attempting to play Multiplayer or Zombies after installing the Sabotage DLC pack.

When players attempt to find a Public Match in Zombies, they receive the following error message: "Lost connection to Host/Server. Connection timed out."

Players have reported that the After Action Report is not appearing after a match, and that they are not earning Keys for completing Mission Team missions.

Unable to collect certain medals

Some medals are currently not tracking properly after acquiring them in matches.

Melee weapon kills not tracking
– PlayStation 4

Pack-A-Punched melee weapons are not tracking toward melee weapon kill challenges when playing Rave in the Redwoods map.

Splitscreen players getting kicked
– Xbox One

Splitscreen players on Xbox One might get kicked from matches if they are both scrolling through their loadouts at the same time.

Game crashes

PCs with an AMD GPU will crash after switching Anti-Aliasing to “Filmic SMAA T2X”. Every subsequent boot afterward will crash.

The game seems to be stuttering or rubber banding on level transitions

Issue that affects screen loads, causing level transitions to stutter, hitch, or rubber band and audio to become delayed or unsynced. Stuttering has also been identified in online Multiplayer matches with the maximum allowed players. Resolved
POLANA error

Players are receiving Error Code: POLANA when attempting to play online. Resolved
LUITween Error Message
– All platforms

Players reported they were receiving an error message "Failed to allocate from LUITween pool"

Season Pass not in download history
– PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Players reported they were unable to see whether or not they own Season Pass when looking in their download history.

Solution: Follow the steps based on your platform to check your entitlements, including Season Pass:

PlayStation 4

  1. From the dashboard, go to Settings.
  2. Select PlayStation Network/Account Management.
  3. Select Account Information.
  4. Select Services List.
  5. Select Infinite Warfare.

Everything that appears on this list is owned.

Xbox One

  1. From the dashboard, go to Store.
  2. Find Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Season Pass in the Xbox Store.

If Season Pass is owned, it is marked Owned.

Players not receiving Spaceland
– Xbox One

Some players are not receiving the Zombies in Spaceland Pack personalization items.

Solution: Players can manually download the personalization pack.

  1. From the dashboard, highlight Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
  2. Press the Options button and select Manage game.
  3. Go to Ready to install.
  4. Select the Zombies in Spaceland pack and download.
This is intended functionality with Xbox One digital content.
General performance issues

Performance issues in the 40-50 fps range and some stuttering. Fixed in first post-launch update
Lost mouse functionality on boot
– Windows 10 Store

Mouse becomes unresponsive after booting the game.

Game freezes after accepting an invitation
– Windows 10 Store

Accepting an invite or joining a Multiplayer or Zombies session while in Campaign gameplay can cause the game to freeze.

Frame rate in Multiplayer
– Xbox One
Players on Xbox One are experiencing frame rate issues in Multiplayer matches. Resolved with TU3 released 11/11/16
Intro video after match
– All platforms
Players are reporting that the intro video is playing after every Multiplayer match with no way to skip or bypass. Resolved with TU3 released 11/11/16
Players not receiving Season Pass bonus content
– All platforms

Some players who have purchased Season Pass are not receiving their 10 Rare Supply Drops and 1,000 Salvage Credits.

Workaround: Some players have found that closing and rebooting the game two or three times delivers their Season Pass bonus content.

Players are experiencing hitching and frame rate loss when navigating menus. Resolved with TU3 released 11/11/16
Jackal Assault VR Experience locked in in-game store
– PlayStation 4
