Making Purchases and Redeeming Codes Through Activision Websites

Instructions for buying merchandise and redeeming promotional codes on official websites hosted by Activision

This guide offers detailed, step-by-step instructions for making purchases or redeeming promotional codes on various websites hosted by Activision.

If you have further questions related to a transaction, such as the status of an order, shipping, cancellations, and returns, please refer to the website’s support section.

Making Purchases on Call of Duty® Merchandise Stores

The instructions below refer to the following websites:

 

Account options

To access account options, select the person icon in the upper right-hand corner in your web browser. On mobile devices, open the main menu (three vertical lines) and select Login/Sign Up.

  • Returning Customers: If you have an existing account, you can log by entering your Email Address and Password.
    • If you forgot your Password, select the Forgot your password? link, enter your email address, and select Submit. The website will send password reset instructions to the email address you entered.
  • New Customer: Select Create an account to register an account with the website.
  • Continue as a guest: If you prefer to shop as a Guest, return to the homepage and begin shopping.

 

Currency options

The prices for products on this site are listed in US Dollars by default. You can change the currency shown for products through a dropdown menu.

  • On desktop: the dropdown menu to change the currency setting is located in the upper right-hand corner.
  • On mobile devices: you can find the dropdown menu at the bottom of the main menu (three vertical lines).

 

Shopping

You can explore the products offered on a website by using the Category menu at the top of the page on desktop, or by opening the main menu (three vertical lines) on mobile devices.

You can also search for specific items using the Search feature at the top of any page.

Please note: Scrolling down on a page will hide the main header menu. Scroll up to expose the main header menu.

If you find an item you wish to buy, select Add to Cart to put the item in your virtual shopping cart. Note that some items may require you to select additional information before adding it to your cart, such as selecting a T-Shirt size.

 

Checking Out

When you’re ready to make a purchase, select the Shopping Cart icon in the upper right-hand corner. From there, you can select Check Out to process your purchase.

Express checkout:

If you wish to process an express checkout, select one of the payment provider buttons under Express checkout at the top of the checkout page. A separate login to these payment providers may be required.

Standard checkout:

Complete the checkout form, including your Contact email address, your Delivery address and Shipping method, and your preferred Payment method.

Please note: if you created an account or logged in to an existing account, some of this information will be filled in automatically. Please ensure all information is accurate before checking out.

When you’re ready to complete your order, select Pay now at the bottom of the page.

If any required fields are missing, they will be highlighted with a red border around the field along with instructions.

 

Order confirmation

After successfully making your purchase, you will be taken to an order confirmation page with an overview of your order details. You will also receive this information via email at the address you used to place your order.

When your order is ready to ship, you will receive notification via email including tracking information.

 

Redeeming Codes on the Call of Duty Redemption Site

Through various promotions or giveaways, players may receive codes redeemable for digital content. Follow the steps below if you’ve been instructed to redeem a code on callofduty.com.

  1. Log in to your Call of Duty account. If you don’t already have a Call of Duty account, you can sign up for an account
  2. Make sure you have at least one Gaming Network account linked to your Call of Duty account.
    • In most cases, Call of Duty digital content acquired through promotions and giveaways will be available on all Gaming Network accounts linked to a Call of Duty account. However, some content may only be available through a single Gaming Network account. If you are asked to select a platform when redeeming a code (see Step 4 below), be sure to select a platform that you have linked to your Call of Duty account in order to access the content.
  3. Go to callofduty.com/redeem.
    • Important! Some promotions may include a branded link to the redemption site (e.g. callofduty.com/brand). Be sure to use the branded link if one is provided with the promotion.
  4. Enter your code in the field provided and select Redeem Code.
    • If other information is requested, be sure to provide the information before selecting Redeem Code.

After successfully redeeming a code, a confirmation message will be presented.

 

Error messages

Follow the guidelines based on the error message you received.

  • Invalid Code: Be sure you're entering your code exactly as it's displayed on the receipt, insert, or packaging.
  • Code Already Redeemed: The code you entered has already been used to redeem this bonus content. Please look for your content in the game.
  • Max Limit Reached: The account you used to redeem the code has already received the digital content using another code. Be sure you are signed in to the correct account.
    • Please note: Some digital content, such as 2XP codes, may have limits to the number of codes that can be redeemed on individual accounts. Please see the promotion’s Terms and Conditions for more information.

Troubleshooting missing content

In some cases, it can take up to 24 hours for digital content to appear in the game.

If the game was running when you redeemed a code, please restart the game. If you're on a console, please also try rebooting your console.
